Nuevo Jerusalem, Nicaragua - 2005

There is no better place to be then where God wants you, and that is exactly where we were in 2005 as we descended on the town of Nuevo Jerusalem in the country of Nicaragua. The team of 38, which originated from North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas and Utah, provided medical and dental assistance to over 3,000 villagers in 3.5 days. The days were long and the facilities were limited, but the joy and blessings that we received from seeing the smiles on the faces of the people we served made up for any temporary discomfort that we might have experienced.
